Nevada Warrant Records Nevada Warrant Records

Nevada Warrant Records is a private reference site, not a government office or statewide warrant desk. NCJIS is restricted to authorized criminal-justice users, and there is no public statewide name search. Questions about an actual case or warrant belong with the District, Justice, or Municipal Court that issued it. If the court directs a service or custody question elsewhere, the appropriate local sheriff, constable, marshal, jail, or arresting agency can be found through the county directory.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. This private reference site cannot query NCJIS, confirm a warrant, recall or clear an order, accept bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice. Contact the court that issued the warrant about its case status and resolution steps. Follow that court's direction for any local service or custody contact.

Need Official Warrant Information?

For an official answer in Nevada, start with the court and case tied to the matter:

  • Current case or warrant status: contact the District, Justice, or Municipal Court that issued the order. Use the county directory to identify the local court and its clerk; a District Court result will not answer for every Justice or Municipal Court.
  • A missed court date: ask the court that scheduled the hearing whether a bench or failure-to-appear warrant was issued and what process applies. The county directory routes to the relevant local court.
  • Service or custody questions: use the sheriff, constable, municipal marshal, jail, or arresting-agency channel named by the court or its official instructions. There is no single statewide sheriff lookup.
  • Resolving a warrant: ask the issuing court about a hearing, recall motion, surrender, or bond, and consider advice from a licensed Nevada attorney. Start with the court listing in the county directory.
  • How to search across Nevada: the warrant search page describes the public court and local channels; NCJIS itself is not publicly searchable.
  • What NCJIS does: read about Nevada's warrant system and its limits for public access.

The issuing court controls the case file and the status of its warrant. There are 17 county and county-equivalent destinations in Nevada, including Carson City, and courts and service channels differ locally. Use the county directory to reach the right District, Justice, or Municipal Court, then follow its instructions for any sheriff, constable, marshal, jail, or arresting-agency contact.
